This blog is 20 years old today and 1528 posts have been published. I started it on the 14th August 2006, a month or so after my daughter was born. I saw a singer-songwriter at a gig recently; he mentioned, between songs, that his first album was 20 years old that week. He got some applause, but he downplayed it: “It’s not a cause for celebration,” he said, “just an observation of the passing of time.” Same.
