Seeing Camborne through Cat’s eyes

When I recently worked with Dan again, I also worked alongside Cat, which is short for Catherine. She lived near Redruth, and we would often chat about the area. Post-lockdown I’m sure she said to me how nice Camborne was looking and that lots of new shops and businesses had opened up. It was hard to believe, and I mentioned it to my partner, and she was intrigued, and not soon after we drove through town. Well, I think we counted 14 closed shops in its high street. Obviously a lot of British high streets have been hit hard too, but it was hard to see Camborne was on the up. Since then, instead of seeing the world through rose-tinted spectacles, we’ve tried to see it through Cat’s eyes.
